1. Who we are
DotZeo ("we", "us") is an SEO software service operated by DotTut. This policy explains what data we collect when you use www.dotzeo.com and app.dotzeo.com, and how we handle it.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: your name, email address, and a hashed password when you register.
- Website and crawl data: the domains you add and the publicly accessible pages our crawler fetches from them, including page titles, meta tags, headings, and link structure.
- Usage data: standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, kept for security and debugging.
- Contact messages: anything you send through our contact form.
3. What we do with it
- Provide the service: run audits, store reports, show your score history.
- Secure the service: rate limiting, abuse prevention, account lockout.
- Communicate with you: audit notifications and replies to your enquiries.
We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We do not share your crawl data with third parties except the infrastructure providers that host the service.
4. Cookies and local storage
We use one strictly necessary cookie on the app (a session refresh token) and local storage for your theme preference. The marketing site sets no tracking cookies.
5. Crawling
Our crawler only fetches publicly accessible pages of domains that an account holder explicitly adds, identifies itself with the user agent "DotZeoBot", and respects standard web conventions. If you believe your site is being crawled against your wishes, contact us and we will block it.
6. Retention and deletion
Audit data is kept while your account is active so you can track score history. Deleting a website removes its audit history. Deleting your account removes your personal data within 30 days, except where law requires longer retention.
7. Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correction, or deletion at any time via the contact form. We respond within 30 days.
8. Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will note it here and notify active accounts by email.
